XML / HTML Programmer

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Should have strong knowledge in HTML/XML/MathML coding and Word formatting. Good knowledge of manual coding.
2. Should have working knowledge of Fine Reader, OCR, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Notepad++, Epsilon and understanding the DTD/XML Schema.
3. Should be capable of validating and ensuring the correctness of the XML/HTML file before the final delivery.
4. Should have good knowledge of proofreading marking and fixing the corrections in the XML/HTML files.
5. Should have good working knowledge of making ePDF/Web Ready PDF by generating a bookmark table of contents and linking it with the corresponding headings/chapters, and can do PDF pages resizing using Adobe Acrobat.
6. Experience with content management systems and publishing workflows will be an added advantage.
