Testing Engineers work closely with software developers and program managers to iron out any bugs in the product, and improve the quality of the finished product. There's a common saying in the IT industry that behind every successful software is a careful Testing Engineer. Thus having the right candidate as a Testing Engineer is vital to the success of the product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Proficiency in HTML/XML/MathML manual coding and Word formatting.
Applying and fixing proofreading markings and corrections in XML/HTML files.
Validating XML/HTML files for accuracy and correctness before final delivery.
Proficiency in tools such as Abbyy FineReader, OCR, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and Notepad++/Epsilon Editor.
Familiarity with content management systems and publishing workflows is an added advantage.
